"I should really start doing yoga."

You still mean it. But then the day gets busy, the motivation disappears, and somehow it never actually happens.

Your nervous system is probably so overwhelmed that it avoids the thing that would actually help. That makes a lot of sense and is a normal human experience.
You don't need more willpower. You need someone to just tell you exactly what to do every, single, day, and make it so simple you have no excuse not to show up.
